Exploded Timeless Clock. Revision and completion of prior clock renderings with a newly designed stand. Drawn and organized by hand, then scanned and colored digitally in Photoshop.
I wanted to showcase the beauty of this antique clock tower mechanism made of bronze and steel—I wanted to emphasize its timelessness and the elevation of its magnificent construction. To do so, I designed a base of chrome and glass that raised it high off the ground. There is a long and slender slit in the top glass plate, just wide enough for the hands to rotate through, and a small notch in the bottom plate where the hands just graze the glass, almost as if the hands have carved into the glass over time.
